SFI President Arnie Kuhns in SEMA Hall of Fame - July, 2002

On July 19, SFI President Arnie Kuhns was given quite an honor when he was introduced as one of this year’s inductees into the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s (SEMA) Hall of Fame. The recognition was given to Arnie and three other distinguished honorees during the 2002 SEMA Installation Banquet held at Joe’s Garage in Tustin, CA. All four newly named members will be officially inducted during the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas later this year.

Induction into the SEMA Hall of Fame includes Arnie among a group of over 100 significant figures in the motorsports and automotive aftermarket industries. “Of interest,” notes Arnie, “is that by my count there are approximately 30 members of the SEMA Hall of Fame that were instrumental in either the development of the SFI Foundation or as current members of the SFI Program.” This demonstrates that the relationship between SFI and SEMA that developed 25 years ago is still strong today.

Many congratulations to Arnie and the other 2002 SEMA Hall of Fame Inductees, Amy Faulk of Hypertech Inc., Harry Hibler of Uni-Marketing LLC, and Ray Lipper of Center Line Wheels Inc.
